ok kanmani

Dulqer Salman and Nitya Menon crackle in the modern day romance. This Mani Ratnam movie oozes romance.
A young couple struggle with their beliefs of love and marriage. An oft repeated theme in the movies but beaten up soft and fluffy in this one.
The parallel track of Prakash Raj and Leeds Samson is a movie in itself.
I anticipated a more contemporary ending but MR took the more trodden path. Disappointed!
Music by A.R.Rahman sounds stale and jaded.
Old wine in new bottle. OK kanmani

Mera Woh Matlab Nahin Tha

Starring Anupam Kher and Neena Gupta
Directed by Rakesh Bedi

When two lovers meet after a gap of 35 years and try to clear the confusions that led to them to separate lives, turmoil is inevitable.

The play is a two day journey of conflict resolution with very good acting by all on stage. The chemistry between Kher and Gupta is crackling

With a slightly slow moving second half, the play goes through the lives of the protagonists with little melodrama and tries to be as real as possible.

Court
A multi lingual movie, Court is a sarcastic take on the legal system in india. The movie is humorous while being true. For all those grew up on staple Bollywood fare , this movie is an eye opener.Would have been more effective with some tight editing.
